A deposit of 40% is due upon booking. This must be paid free of charge within 7 days.
Only cash payment is possible on site. We ask you to pay the remaining amount upon departure.
The holiday home is available from approx. 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. We ask you to let us know your approximate arrival time before arrival so that we can greet you personally.
On the day of departure, the apartment must be vacated by 9:00 a.m.
Your four-legged friends are very welcome with us by prior arrangement. Costs per day and dog: €20.00.
Please note that dogs are not allowed in the wellness area.
A dog station is only 50m from the house. There is a general leash law in the municipality of Viehhofen.
Our house is perfect for children and families. Toddlers up to 4 years are free in their parents’ room.
Cancellations up to 3 months before arrival are free of charge. For cancellations in the period from 3 months to 1 month before arrival, 40% of the booking price will be charged. One month to 8 days before arrival, the cancellation costs are 70% of the total amount. If you cancel 7 days before arrival, 90% of the booking price must be paid. In case of no-show, 100% of the booking price will be charged.

From the Glemmtalerlandesstraße, turn right into the village center of Viehhofen, then follow the road towards Hecherhütte. The road leads slightly uphill for about 1.5 km, turn left at Raggensteinweg and you are directly at the Hecherhof.
There are two medical practices in Saalbach and Hinterglemm, should there be a medical emergency. The nearest hospital in Zell am See is only a 20-minute drive away.
For minor ailments, our pharmacies in Saalbach and Hinterglemm will provide you with the necessary remedies.
We are an organic farm with mother cows (cattle) and goats. Please also pay attention to our animals and treat them with care. For example, put your dogs on a leash and never feed the animals. This way we can all admire and enjoy nature and our animal world together.
The nearest bus stop is in the village of Viehhofen. About 5 minutes away by car.
Around our farm you will find space for up to 7 cars. If there are more, there is a free parking space near the village center. In Viehhofen over the wooden bridge opposite the entrance to the village – signs for Dauerparker parking lot.
Free parking spaces are available at the nearest mountain railway – the Zell am See Xpress and the Schönleitenbahn. But be careful, on beautiful days these are highly sought after and it is also worth taking public transport. We do not recommend parking in Saalbach, as there are very limited parking spaces and these are also subject to a fee. On the other hand, in Hinterglemm there are free parking spaces at the Westgipfelbahn, the Zwölferkogel and the Hochalmbahnen.
Our sauna is open daily from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. It offers space for 6 people. The sauna is switched on and off automatically every day.
ski bus is included in the ski ticket. So you can use it at any time during your stay. The lines run between Viehhofen and Hinterglemm at regular intervals. You can find more detailed information here:
The Ski Alpin Card opens up completely new possibilities in winter sports. This ski pass includes 3 premium ski regions: The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See and the Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun glacier ski area. You can purchase the tickets at all valley stations or online without any stress.
There is a Burger Baron in Viehhofen. In this you will also find one or two small things to buy. For larger purchases, we recommend either the Billa in Saalbach and an Mpreis in the town center. Towards Hinterglemm there is also an Mpreis and a Sparmarkt. In Maishofen you will also find a Sparmarkt. Some of the markets are also open on Sundays and public holidays and provide you with fresh food and everything you need for your vacation.
